Seth LaGrange
Before becoming a full-time artist, Seth was a professionally trained wildlife biologist and worked for many years as a research scientist. During his career, he had the opportunity to work with a variety of threatened and endangered species, including Timber Rattlesnakes, Eastern Massasauga Rattlesnakes, Alligator Snapping Turtles, and Hellbender Salamanders.
Seth’s scientific background strongly influences his artwork, much of which focuses on animals and the natural world. Through his detailed and expressive work, he hopes to not only capture the beauty of wildlife but also inspire greater appreciation for the species and environments that surround us.
For Seth, art is more than creating beautiful images—it is a way to share his love of nature and encourage others to care about the conservation of our natural world.
