Linda Clayton
“That is true magic. When a painting finds its person.”
Minnesota artist Linda Clayton is a passionate, expressionistic artist who believes art should do more than simply hang on a wall—it should make you feel something.
After high school, Linda played it safe. She earned her degree from St. Cloud State and built a career in Graphic Design. She was good at it, made a living doing it, and checked all the boxes. The problem? She absolutely hated it.
It didn’t fill her soul.
So Linda decided to stop playing it safe and start chasing what truly mattered to her: creating art that brings joy, sparks happiness, empowers others, and encourages people to see the world from a different perspective. And if she can make someone laugh along the way, even better.
Linda draws inspiration from music, childhood memories, everyday life, and the wonderfully unpredictable world of animals. Her expressionistic work invites viewers to slow down, connect, and find their own meaning within each piece. She intentionally leaves room for interpretation, because she believes every viewer brings something unique to the experience.
For Linda, the real magic happens when someone looks at a painting and sees something that speaks directly to them.
