Pop’s Casey
Casey’s creative journey began with a passion for black-and-white photography, where he developed an eye for composition, detail, and beauty. As a professional carpenter, he gained a deep understanding of wood—its strength, character, and limitations—while also developing a love for antiques and the craftsmanship of the past.
Blending his artistic vision, woodworking expertise, and appreciation for history, Pops Casey developed his distinctive style of Tramp Art Folk Art. For more than 25 years, he has created one-of-a-kind works inspired by American history, personal experiences, family, cultural traditions, and religious influences.
His unique pieces have been exhibited and sold through galleries, auctions, and art fairs across the United States, reflecting both exceptional craftsmanship and a deep appreciation for American heritage. Many of his works also incorporate a sense of utility, reflecting Casey’s belief that art can be both meaningful and functional—objects with a story, a purpose, and a place in everyday life.
