Kelsey Anderson is a Minneapolis-based painter whose work is driven by curiosity, a global perspective, and a belief in the enduring power of art to positively shape our world. She began college studying biology before changing course to pursue art, but her fascination with animals and the natural world never left. Her art education took her from Iowa to New York City and Sydney, followed by a master’s degree in Film and Television in Australia. That same curiosity about the natural world continues to shape both what she paints and how she sees it.

Nearly a decade living and working abroad profoundly shaped the way she sees the world. She taught art to at-risk youth in Ghana and built a career spanning television production, international higher education, and immigration law, all experiences that kept her connected to people, places, and perspectives across cultures. An avid traveler and dual citizen of Australia and the U.S., she remains endlessly curious about the natural world and our place within it.
