It is with great sadness that we remember Larry A. Brechner, who passed away on September 3. Larry devoted his life to the arts—as a theater director and producer, fine arts photographer, radio host, and longtime advocate for the arts throughout Northwest Indiana. He co-hosted and produced Art on the Air for eight years and continued supporting the arts through community boards and volunteer work. Beyond his many accomplishments, Larry was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who brought energy, humor, creativity, and genuine warmth to everything he did.

The For the Love of Art Fair is grateful to Larry for his friendship and for supporting our mission to inspire, educate, and ignite art in all lives. His passion for the arts and his encouragement of artists will be deeply missed, and we are honored to remember a man who gave so much of himself to the creative community.
