Terry Hickey
Terri Hickey, a Cleveland-based jewelry artist, specializes in fine silver and glass enamel Cloisonne and Champleve jewelry. Influenced by her mother, an art teacher, she began her artistic journey in Chicago and later earned a degree in Fashion Merchandising and Design from the University of Illinois. After working in clothing development, she moved to Cleveland with her family. After many years at home with her three children Terri began pursuing jewelry and metals classes, eventually focusing on enamels. Terri adores working with the glass and her strength is her creative use of color. This is showcased in her pieces and her creative process. Her designs are influenced by her desire to create cloisonne pieces that are “everyday wearable” while keeping true to the century’s old techniques of enameling. Cloisonne looks the most glorious in the sunshine! “Wear it every day” is Terri’s motto! Terri participates in art shows in the Midwest and Eastern areas of the United States. She has received several awards for her jewelry and has been featured in both TV and magazine stories. Terri also teaches various jewelry-making classes in the Cleveland area.
