TJ Martin
TJ Martin is a new resident of Dowagiac Michigan. Native of South Bend and lived most of his adult life in Mishawaka.
TJ is a member of the Pokagon Band of Potawatomi, and from a young age, my mother taught us how to bead & sew. TJ has owned a paintball field, built custom guitars, 2 of which are on display at Silver Creek Event Center at Four Winds Casino in New Buffalo, MI. He has also airbrushed RVs (by trade since 2012), and has done many custom paint jobs on motorcycles, guitars, & whatever else will hold paint. He also has been a professional musician since 1997, and am currently in 2 bands. He is the lead guitarist in the band Zero, and in an acoustic duo called Martini.
Most recently, TJ became the owner of Akan Hats & have been in business since July 2022. He makes custom leather hats, purses, wallets, and other leather accessories.
